Whether you are preparing to build a home, you are waiting for your turn at the design center, or you wanting to repaint your home, finding the perfect interior paint color is one of the first things on your list. We recommend going neutral and keeping it light. This may seem easy but trust us once you open that paint deck you will find how many different shades of white, off-white, gray and gray-beige there are.
At Liberty Homes we use Sherwin Williams paint but are usually able to find a match from another brand if need be. The trick once you find a color is to discover if it has an undertone that may not be apparent at first glance. One way to do this is to take the paint swatch outside. If you see pink, purple or a yellow shade that you didn’t expect and frankly don’t like, move on to another color.
To make this process a little easier you can start here with our top 5 neutral interior paint colors that are many of our go tos.
(Keep in mind paint colors appear to change in different lighting and are affected by what is put in the room with it such as carpet, furniture, etc.)
